Disability Service

CarePlus gives people living with disabilities the chance to extend their horizons through real opportunities to try new things and to develop new networks and friends, life skills and independence.

The service provides a mix of support in the family home and in community-based leisure, therapeutic or educational activities. This provides an opportunity for the young person, parents or informal carers to have a break and helps them all to cope. Activities may be whatever people want to do. In turn, families and carers get some time to pursue their own interests.

We support individuals through transition, preparing them for greater independent living.

We also support young people with complex needs who may require two-to-one staffing.

We support people to use mainstream health services, transport, sport and leisure facilities and to get actively involved in a variety of local community activities.

We provide support services to help people with disabilities to make choices and live their lives the way they want.

The CarePlus approach enables the whole family to plan how the support will benefit them. We believe that one size doesn't fit all.
CarePlus we believe in helping people with disabilities achieve the life they want, through our staff supporting them in the right way.
